RESERVING YOUR DATE & SERVICES
Your event date and services will be reserved upon completion of this contract, a non-refundable deposit of $500, and valid credit card information being provided herein.
The signing of this contract by any means physical or electronic, binds the signing parties to the execution of these clauses. This contract is legally binding and is constructed in the spirit of ensuring both signing parties receive their desired ends.
Please ensure you read this contract in its entirety and complete it carefully.
BOOKINGS
Your event date and services will be secured when this contract is signed and a non-refundable deposit of $500 is made. All service numbers will be confirmed and finalized by the signing client and KW Glam no more than 90 days after signing this contract.
Due to the possibility of schedule conflicts and staffing, additional makeup and hair services added 90 days after signing this contract, or changes made to location and time of event after contract signing will be accommodated at the discretion of KW Glam and cannot be guaranteed. All services must be finalized within 90 days after the signing of this contract.
If services numbers are reduced after the 90 days mark, client remains 100% financially responsible for the services outlined in this contract and KW Glam remains 100% responsible for the delivery of said services.
PAYMENTS
All services must be finalized within 90 days of signing this contract. Complete payment is due in full 30 days before the event date.
Client will be invoiced and payments can be made via most modern payment processors, cash, or check. If you would like to pay cash, please reach out via email to hello@katiewalshglam.com for payment coordination.
The non-refundable deposit of $500 will be deducted from client's final invoice and is due at the time of signing this contract.
TRAVEL FEES
$2 per mile, per stylist calculated one way with a $75 minimum.
Distances near or greater than 2 hours from Portsmouth, NH may require overnight accommodations the night before your event. Accommodations are at the expense and coordination of the client.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
All charges associated with travel or delivery of services including but not limited to things such as ferry boat tickets, excessive tolls, flights, hotel accommodations, parking, valet, or any other cost associated with the action of traveling to the destination and operating there are the responsibility of the client and will be included in the final invoice or billed to the client thereafter.
SERVICE MINIMUMS & SEASONAL PREMIUM
A minimum of 5 services or $1,750 (whichever is greater) is required for travel within 1.5 hour radius of Portsmouth, NH and a minimum of 10 services or $3,000 (whichever is greater) beyond that.
Application of service minimums are at the sole discretion of KW Glam for both on-site and in-salon services. Events in New England, specifically weddings, are mostly seasonal and we apply a premium to any bookings which do not meet the service minimum during our busiest time of year May 1 - Nov 1.
CARD ON FILE • Initials required
I authorize KW Salon, LLC DBA, KW Glam to keep my credit card on file for any future transactions, incidentals, or unpaid billables until I request a cancellation.
I understand that the terms of this authorization will remain in effect until I request that they be terminated. I acknowledge that I am responsible for making this request in writing via email to hello@katiewalshglam.com
BRIDAL TRIAL
The trial is included as part of client's non-refundable deposit. A trial is an opportunity for the client to hone in on the look desired prior to the day of the event and to help deliver a seamless, worry free experience on the event date.
A trial is strongly recommended but not required. If you choose to have a trial, it's time and salon location will be coordinated with your stylist approximately 6 to 8 weeks before the event date. If you choose not to have a trial, packages and services are not discounted as a result.
Please arrive on time. Come with photos of inspiration, a top similar to dress color (not required but helpful), and any accessories (veil, extensions, hair pieces).
Additional trials vary in cost and change annually. If there is a desire for an additional trial, please contact booking@katiewalshglam.com for pricing and coordination.
If a trial is requested prior to signing a contract signing and deposit being paid, KW Glam cannot guarantee or reserve a date. Event dates are only secured once we have received a signed contract and deposit.
DAY OF LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS
The location of hair and makeup services for the day of the event will be at the client's discretion and communicated at time of inquiry. Artist(s) will arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the agreed upon start time to set-up and prepare for services. Changes to the location can and will result in necessary adjustments to travel fees. KW Glam reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline services if location changes are made after signing this contract and result in excessive travel. Excessive travel is determined at the sole discretion of KW Glam.
Your stylist will reach out 24 - 48 hours before the event date to confirm and coordinate hotel room numbers, specific location instructions, or any relevant information that needs to be communicated.
KW Glam will design and share a timeline which includes start time and allotted times needed per service. Please ensure everyone in the party has clean dry hair for hair services and a clean fresh face for makeup services.
DELAYS
KW Glam will produce a timeline approximately 30 days prior to the event date for the client's review. Please be prepared to start at the agreed time and follow the timeline as precisely as possible. When KW Glam team has arrived, allow 15-30 minutes to set up.
1-2 (or possible more) attendants will be called to start and should be ready to receive services at the agreed upon start time. It is of the utmost importance to stay on schedule such that services can be completed in the allotted time.
In the event the bride or attendant is more than 45 minutes late from contracted start time, the artist(s) are not obligated to complete all paid services.
TIMELINE
KW Glam will create a timeline which includes a scheduled start time for the day. This will be communicated and agreed upon with the client and sent via email for review and modifications.
If services rendered differ in the positive to that of the initial quote, KW Glam cannot guarantee the delivery of those "extra" services. All service numbers must be communicated and finalized within 90 days of the signing of this contract.
Any services added 90 or more days after the signing of this contract cannot be guaranteed. Any services reduced 90 days or more after signing this contract, or missed on the day of, will remain the full financial responsibility of the client (see clause on cancelations).
Any additional services which are done on the day of or "unplanned" will be invoiced the following day and charged to the card on file.
It is crucial to remain on schedule to prevent delays with the first look, photographs, and most importantly, ceremony time. Please respect the agreed upon timeline and ensure your entire party is aware of it and respectful of it also.
PROMOTIONAL & MATKETING MATERIALS • Initials required
We reserve the right to request/share photos and video from/with the photographer hired by the client. KW Glam and your stylist reserve the right to use and view any professional photographs and video of the event for promotional and marketing purposes, unless otherwise stated by the client in writing. This agreement is a release for KW Glam, DBA, KW Salon, LLC to use any and all photos and video captured during the delivery of services and the event there after, of the client and event attendees for promotional and commercial use. By initialing, you are giving your consent to use the above described media on any of our marketing platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Websites, Print Advertisements, and all other promotional mediums).
If you decide to waive KW Glam's right to use these materials, please initial this section and communicate your declining in an email to hello@katiewalshglam.com
HEALTH & SAFETY
Client(s) further understand that KW Salon, LLC, DBA, KW Glam complies with all health and safety laws, rules and regulations. Client(s) expressly agree(s) that during the event the client and party involved shall not carry weapons or firearms, be exposed to severe illness, or request a team member of KW Glam to do anything illegal or unsafe.
Further, KW Glam stylist(s) will not provide services in any location or area deemed to be unsafe and makes this distinction at their sole discretion, including, but not limited to, areas affected by communicable diseases, quarantined areas, or other similar occurrences. Under any of these
circumstances, KW Glam stylist(s) reserves the right to end service coverage immediately and/or leave the event. KW Glam stylist(s) shall be entitled to retain all monies paid and client(s) agree to relieve and hold KW Glam stylist(s) harmless as a result of incomplete event coverage, or for a lapse in the quality of the work.
All makeup products and brushes are kept sanitary within each stylist. All products are sanitized between every application. Any skin condition should be reported prior to the delivery of services. If need be, a sample test may be performed on the skin to test reaction client agrees to release the artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
FAILURE TO PREFORM
In the event a KW Glam stylist(s) cannot or will not perform their agreed upon service, in any or all parts of this agreement, they (or a responsible party) will immediately give notice to client via the notice provisions detailed in this agreement; and attempt to find another competent professional to take their place with the agreement of the client(s); If another competent professional is not available or client(s) do not agree to the transfer of obligations to said alternate professional, KW Glam will issue a full refund and excuse client(s) of any further performance and/or payment obligations in this agreement.
UNAVOIDABLE CASUALTY
No party shall be liable or responsible to the other party, nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of this Agreement (except for any obligations to make payments to the other party hereunder), when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts beyond the impacted party’s
(“Impacted Party”) control, including, but not limited to, the following unavoidable casualty events
(a) a natural disaster (fires, explosions, earthquakes, hurricane, flooding, storms, explosions, infestations), epidemic, or pandemic;
(b) war, invasion, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest;
(c) government order or law;
(d) actions, embargoes or blockades in effect on or after the date of this Agreement;
(e) Action by any governmental authority;
(f) National or regional emergency;
(g) Strikes, labor stoppages or
slowdowns or other industrial disturbances;
(h) Shortage of adequate power or transportation facilities.
The Impacted Party shall give notice within 90 days of the unavoidable
casualty event to the other party, stating the period of time the occurrence is expected to continue. The Impacted Party shall use diligent efforts to end the failure or delay and ensure the effects of such unavoidable casualty events are minimized. The Impacted Party shall resume the performance of its obligations as soon as reasonably practicable after the removal of the cause.
In the event that the Impacted Party’s failure or delay remains uncured for a period of 90 days following notice given by it, the other party may thereafter terminate this agreement upon notice.
CANCELATION POLICY • Initials required
Bridal party services must be finalized within 90 days of signing this contract and cannot be altered or reduced from that point forward. Additional services may be added should the team providing said services be able to able to staff and accommodate appropriately.
Any desired service alterations which reduce the individual services outlined herein, 90 days after signing this contract, are the full financial responsibility of the client signing this contract and will be charged 100% of the cost of the services being removed.
Clients reserve the right to cancel this contract in it's entirety, no less than 120 calendar days before the event date. Such action will result in the client's deposit being forfeited with no additional charges being made for individual services.
No show/missed appointments for trials and day of services will result in full charge of service(s).
Any cancelations or alterations made within the time frames mentioned above, and which result in canceled services being billed to the client, the client will have the resulting invoice billed and charged against the card on file and provided in this contract.
By initialing this clause the signing client acknowledges and accepts this financial responsibility and gives KW Salon, LLC express permission to charge for canceled services and negative alterations within the time frames outlined in this clause.
Any and all cancellations, whether wholly or individually, must be submitted in written form and sent via email to hello@katiewalshglam.com
INDEMNIFICATION
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including attorney's fees, arising out of or related to the client's participation in the services provided by KW Salon, LLC DBA KW Glam.

You understand that upon submitting this signed contract, the non-refundable deposit of $500 is due and both must be complete to secure your inquired date.
Any unpaid balances or non-payments will be charged to the credit card number you provide here. By initialing you declare that you have read and fully understand all the above terms, conditions, and clauses both in spirit and in applicable local, state, and federal law.
