What do you do now?
To begin with, congratulations! Congrats on your engagement and well done on booking your wedding hair and makeup services well in advance of you big day. In some ways it can feel anticlimactic, you've spent all this time and evergy researching and inquiring, you've made a great choice with KW Glam, you've paid your deposit and signed your contract, what now? ...Well plenty, actually. There are a number of milestones between booking with us and your wedding day that you should note in your calendar. Let's go over them!

12 to 15 Months Out
Initial Reservation: Secure your wedding date with your KW Glam! This is a crucial first step, especially if you're planning a wedding during the peak season in a popular area like New England.
10 to 12 Months Out
Start gathering and collecting inspiration for your look, use sites like Pinterest, or make saved post collections on Instagram. Put all the inspiration you have in one accessible place that you can easily share with your vendors, planner, and stylist.
6 to 9 Months Out
Bridal Party Consultation: Finalize the number of bridesmaids, flower girls, or other members of the bridal party who will also need hair and makeup services. Discuss their preferences and any special requests ahead of time and get your bridal party squared away. The sooner you know how many people need services, the better!
3 to 6 Months Out
Hair and Makeup Trial: The fun begins! Schedule your hair and makeup trial. We will connect you with your glam squad via email to coordinate a date. This should be done well in advance to allow time for any adjustments or changes and to account for busy schedules. The actual trial can happen a little closer to the date but you should start trying to book it in this window. NOTE: This may vary for a bride who is out of state, so don't stress if you're traveling.
1 to 3 Months Out
Create a Service Timeline: By this point in the planning process, you'll have a pretty concrete idea of what your wedding day looks like. At this stage, you'll work with Katie who will help create a detailed timeline for the glam services for the wedding day. We'll help you to ensure that there is enough time for everyone's services without feeling rushed.
1 Month Out
Confirm Timeline: Revisit the wedding day timeline with your glam squad and Katie to ensure it still looks good. Make any necessary adjustments. Be sure any hair pieces, extensions, must have lip color, last minute add ons have been ordered!
1 Week Out
Double Check Details: Reconfirm the final timeline, check in with your bridal party for number of services, and make any special requests with your glam squad. Most importanlty, if you haven't already... START GETTING EXCITED!!!
2 to 7 Days Out
Prep and Pamper: Do any last-minute prepping, such as a hydrafacial, hair treatments, or manicure/pedicure, as recommended by your beauty team. Stay hydrated and stress free. At this point, try to take in the moments leading up to your big day.
Wedding Day!
Sit Back and Enjoy: Trust your glam team to execute the plan we've discussed and enjoy the excitement on your special day. It goes so fast!
By generally following a schedule such as this and staying in close communication (the most important!) with both Katie and your hairstylist and makeup artist, you can ensure that your wedding glam services go smoothly and that you look and feel your best on your big day.
