You’ve booked hair & makeup for your Wedding Day!
What do you do now?
To begin, CONGRATULATIONS! Congrats on your engagement and thank you for trusting us with your hair and makeup on such an important day. In some ways it can feel anticlimactic, you've spent all this time and energy researching and inquiring, you've made a great choice with KW Glam, you've paid your deposit and signed your contract, what now? ...Well plenty, actually. There are a number of milestones between booking with us and your wedding day that you should note in your calendar. Let's go over them!

12 to 15 Months Out
Initial Reservation: Secure your wedding date with KW Glam by making your deposit and signing our contract. This is a crucial first step, especially if you're planning a wedding during the peak season in a popular area like New England.
10 to 12 Months Out
Start gathering and collecting inspiration for your look, use sites like Pinterest, or make saved post collections on Instagram. Put all the inspiration you have in one accessible place that you can easily reference and share with your vendors and planner.
1 to 3 Months Out
Hair and Makeup Preview: The fun begins! Schedule your hair and makeup preview. We will connect you with your lead stylist via email to coordinate a date and time. This should be scheduled well in advance to allow time for any unforseen commitments and to ensure we get on your undoubtedly busy schedule. The actual preview can happen a bit closer to the date but you should start trying to coordinate the day/time in this window. NOTE: This may vary for a bride who is out of state, so don't stress if you're traveling, we can work with you.
1 Month Out
Create a Service Timeline: By this point in the planning process, you'll have a pretty concrete idea of what your wedding day looks like. At this stage, you'll work with Katie who will help to create a detailed timeline for your glam services that morning. We'll help you organize hair and makeup services for everyone to ensure everyone knows where to be and when and no one is left feeling rushed.
1 Week Out
Double Check Details: Take a last look at the final timeline, check in with your bridal party and share it with them. Make sure that everyone knows to arrvie with clean dry hair and a blank facial pallete absent of sunscreens and moisturizers. Any special circumstances that need coordinating, make sure to communicate that with your lead stylist(s). Most importanlty, if you haven't already... START GETTING EXCITED!!!
2 to 7 Days Out
Prep and Pamper: Do any last-minute prepping, such as a hydrafacial, hair treatments, or manicure/pedicure, as recommended by your beauty team. Stay hydrated and stress free. At this point, try to take in the moments leading up to your big day.
Wedding Day!
Sit Back and Enjoy: Trust your glam team to execute the plan we've discussed and enjoy the excitement of the morning. We've got your back on making you and your party look stunning so try to soak in the moments on your special day. Everyone says it but it truly does go so fast!
By generally following a schedule such as this and staying in close communication (the most important!) with KW Galm and your lead stylist, you can ensure that your wedding glam services go smoothly and that you look and feel like your best self on your wedding day.
